So Much to Tell You has won many prizes, including the 1988 Book of the Year Award, the Victorian State Premier's Award, the 1989 KOALA Award and the Christopher Medal (USA). It was selected by the American Library Association as a Best Book for Young Adults and has been translated into eight different languages.
