David Archibald is a Perth, Australia-based scientist operating in the fields of climate science, medical research and oil exploration. He has published several papers on the role of solar cycles in climate. His initial climate paper in 2006 popularised monitoring solar cycles as a climate prediction tool, and, from 2006 to 2009, he had a better track record at predicting solar activity than NASA.

The global worming scare of the last 20 years has been a wasteful distraction for humanity, but it did serve one good purpose. Because the field of climate science was so corrupted by the sums of money involved, the battle against the fraudulent science brought in many scientists from outside the climate field. As a consequence, decades of discovery have been foreshortened into a few years.

Also, without the outside interest drawn in to this field, humanity would be sleepwalking into the very disruptive cooling that is underway with Solar Cycles 24 and 25. There is a warning in the stars that humanity can ignore at its peril. Our generation has known a warm, giving Sun, the next will suffer a Sun that is less giving, and the Earth will be less fruitful.

"I read your book with great interest and I believe it brings a different argumentation to the ongoing global warming debate. I found it quite convincing. I appreciate the form of your book as well. Every day, we all are getting books with hundreds of pages of sophisticated texts and we all have trouble to go through them. In this respect your book is quite refreshing." - Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic.

"I learned a lot from this interesting and incisive work." - Professor Anthony Kelly CBE FRS.

"The polymath David Archibald not only gives a remarkably clear account of the relationship between the Sun and the Earth's climate, but presents it in such small, logical steps that his conclusions seem inescapable." - Professor Cliff Ollier.

"I must say your argumentation is among the most convincing and beautifully distilled down to bare facts I have come upon in the present mess of IPCC-dominated 'science' (to which most of our local politicians vigorously subscribe)." - Professor Folke Stenman, Professor of Physics at University of Helsinki 1970-2003.
