From the author:

I am not a psychiatrist, psychologist or a counsellor. I am a "child of divorce".

When I was writing my first book Please Don't Go! I knew in my heart that these books would be next. There was no point writing about my life as a child of divorce if I did not then have something to help those who now need the information. I have personally illustrated these books to help children relate to the stories and also open them up to share their personal feelings.

The book consists of four different stories: two stories relating to either parent leaving the home and the other two stories relating to a potential step-mother or step-father entering the already established home. This book has four main characters: Daddy, Mummy, Peter and Faith. You will see how many children feel when the separation is taking place and afterwards, how they deal with situations.
